Jonathan Goss, MD
Dr. Jonathan L. Goss is a native of Houston, Texas, a graduate of Morehouse College, Emory School of Medicine, a former resident student at Ohio State University School of Emergency Medicine, and now a doctor turned entrepreneur. His life’s philosophy can be summed up in Dr. King’s famous quote, “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is ‘what are you doing for others.’ Born with a servant’s heart, medicine just happened to be the field he chose to serve in. Even as far back as Middle school, his servant’s heart was on display when he was often reprimanded for being out of his seat trying to help others. He believes that being a good physician means more than just being a competent one. It also means being equally compassionate. And the bigger the health crisis, the more compassion is required.
Working as an emergency care physician and witnessing weeks of endless lines of people waiting desperately to get tested for the Coronavirus and then waiting several days, sometimes more than a week for results, decided to create Emergent Testing center and laboratory to provide quick test results.
Dr. Goss feels blessed to have chosen a field where each day he’s given the opportunity to relieve the pain and suffering of another.
