Created in 2010 by founder Will Turner in Atlanta, Georgia. The Blaxican quickly became one of the best Food Trucks in Atlanta and, in 2015 became the #1 Food Truck and Restaurant Concept in America.
They say that a name is as good as gold, and in the case of The Blaxican it is true.
When I decided to create my food truck concept of Mexican soul-food, I remembered a name a friend of mine from L.A. once called me.
The name is a slang word used to describe bi-racial people of Mexican and African-American decent.
Although it has some shock value, I believe it is the perfect word to describe our culinary style.
